Visitation was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East in Baton Rouge on and resumed on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 until the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial service was held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs with interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park in Denham Springs. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, two daughters and a son-in-law, 12 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, two brothers and a sister-in-law, two sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews, three of which she helped to rear. Preceding her in death was her husband, Joseph S. D’Amico; her parents, John T. Sr., and Mary P. Salpietra; and siblings, Benjamin Salpietra Sr., Mary Barbier, Mamie Landry, Angie Pizzillo and an infant brother. Memorial donations may be made to Baton Rouge Hospice. The family also wished a special thanks to Baton Rouge Hospice for all their help and support.
