DAWSON, ERNESTINE

Ernestine Dawson 90 of Albany died Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at North Oaks 
Medical Center in Hammond.  Before her stroke 16 years ago she was an active 
member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher.  She 
was an excellent cook and seamstress.  She was a member of the Eastern Star 
Fern Leaf Chapter 24 O.E.S.

Religious Services were held at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Albany on Monday, 
October 4, 2010 with interment following in Bethlehem Baptist Church 
Cemetery.  Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home of Baptist handled the 
arrangements.

She was survived by a daughter, a son and daughter-in-law, a granddaughter and 
grandson-in-law, a grandson, five great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 62 years Thomas E. Dawson Jr.; and a 
son-in-law, Milton Castanedo.
