DAY, WILLIAM HERMAN

William Herman Day 82 died Oct 15, 2009 at Harvest Manor Nursing Home in 
Denham Springs.  He was a native of Gloster, MS and a resident of Baton 
Rouge.  He was a retired Baton Rouge Firefighter and an avid hunter.

Visitation was held at Baker Funeral Home on Saturday, Oct 17, 2009 until 
religious services in the funeral home chapel.  A graveside service was held 
at Day Family Cemetery in Gloster MS.

His wife, a daughter and son-in-law, a son and daughter-in-law and four 
grandchildren survive him.

Preceding him in death was a son, Roy Day; a brother, Clyde Day; four sisters, 
Winnie Davis Whittington, Jane Brown, Helen Temple, and Ruthie Wickwire; and 
his parents, Fannie and Jonathan Day.
