He was born Nov 26, 2009 and reared in Hope Villa. Mr. DeLaune was a proud veteran of WWII serving in the US Marines. He earned a degree in law from LSU in 1950. He was called back into service during the Korean conflict and served as legal officer in the US Air Force until his retirement. Memorial Services were held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Bossier City on Friday, Oct 2, 2009. His wife, a son and daughter-in-law, a daughter and son-in-law, two sisters of Denham Springs, and two brothers also of Denham Springs, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren survive him. Preceding him in death were his first wife, Aileen Moore DeLaune, who was of Sydney Australia; his parents, Johnston S.
