Betty Delvisco 
 
Betty Jane Delvisco passed away at 8:03 a.m. Thursday, March 24, 2011, at 
Countrybrook Living Center in Brookhaven, Miss. She was 85 and a resident of 
Brookhaven. She retired as a secretary from the electrical engineering 
department at General Electric. 

Visitation was at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Saturday from 5 p.m. 
to 9 p.m. Visitation resumed at the funeral home on Sunday from 11 a.m. until 
religious services at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, 
Walker. 

She is survived by two daughters, a son, five sisters, grandchildren, and 12 
great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Delvisco; father, Everett 
Jackson; and mother, Lily Jane Jackson Whittington. She was a member of Salem 
Baptist Church in Walker.
