DOWDY, EDWARD 

Edward Dowdy 70 of Denham Springs died Sunday, Nov 28, 2010 at Ochsner Medical 
Center in Baton Rouge.  He was a US Army veteran, having served in an armored 
division.

A private memorial service was to be held.

He was survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, two sons and a daughter-in-
law, 10 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Mary Jo Casey Dowdy; a son, Edward James 
Dowdy; his mother, Glossie Miley; his stepfather, Leo Miley; and a great-
granddaughter, Olivia Jo Dowdy.

In lieu of flowers the family requested that memorial donations be made to the 
Leukemia Lymphoma Society in Baton Rouge.
Arrangements were provided by Church Funeral /Services and Crematory.
