Dupuy 83 of Maurepas died Thursday Jan 28, 2010 at his home. He was a retired heavy equipment operator with Operating Engineers Local 406, and a US Army veteran having served in World War II where he served as a Military Policeman. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, farmer, and member of American Legion Post 254 and Local Union 406. Visitation was held at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church in Maurepas on Monday Feb 1, 2010 until the Mass of Christian Burial with interment in Maurepas Community Cemetery. His wife of 60 years, a daughter and son-in-law, three sons and daughters-in- law, a sister, two brothers, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren survive him. Preceding him in death were his parents, Adam and Loney Dupuy; four brothers, Pivon Dupuy, Perry Dupuy, Ralph Dupuy, and Arthur Dupuy; and two sisters, Mae Rose Lobell, and Mary Berthelot.
