Margie Courtney Rogillio Edleston
DIED: June 23, 2014
LOCATION: Walker, Louisiana


Margie Courtney Rogillio Edleston lost her short battle with cancer on June 
23, 2014 at her home with her family by her side. She was 88 years old. She 
was the best wife, mama, maw-maw and friend anyone could ever have. She will 
be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Thursday, 
June 26, 2014 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm. Visitation will resume on Friday at 
9:00am. Dr. Terry Booth will conduct funeral services in the funeral home 
chapel at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Stafford Cemetery on Hwy 449. 

She is survived by her husband of forty-one years, Donald Edleston and her 
four children and their spouses, Rita Rogillio Stafford (Dwayne), Glenda 
Rogillio Radley (Fred), Brenda Rogillio Stafford (Hershell), Richard Rogillio 
(Melinda). Twelve grandchildren and their spouses, Stephanie Alspaugh (Jimmy 
Hitt), Jason Stafford (Shirley), Beth Chauvin (Christian), Dink Radley 
(Bonnie), Preston Radley, Ricki Rizzo, Shane Stafford (Carmen), Kaci Prather 
(Michael), Kelly Decker (Chance), Kristen Rogillio, Rick Rogillio, and Michael 
Rogillio (Berkeley). Also survived by twenty great grandchildren and one on 
the way and eight great great grandchildren. Also survived by one brother, 
Elwood Courtney and special niece and nephew, Lea Courtney Foster and Bobby 
Courtney. Also she is survived by her sweet fur baby, "Baby Girl". 

She was preceded in death by her parents, William O. Courtney and Telliua Gill 
Courtney and her first husband Clyde Rogillio, her brothers, Clinton Courtney, 
Ivy Courtney, and Norwood Courtney. Pall bearers are her grandsons, Jason and 
Shane Stafford, Dink and Preston Radley and Michael and Rick Rogillio. 
Honorary pallbearers are Chase Alspaugh, Cody Stafford and Brandon Chauvin.
