EDWARDS, CINDY MCKINNEY

Cindy McKinney Edwards 73 of Springfield died at her home on Thursday, January 
27, 2011 from complications of Alzheimer's.  She was a native and lifelong 
resident of Springfield.  She was a faithful member and longtime deaconess at 
Blood River Church of God and was retired from Elmer's Candy Company in 
Ponchatoula.  

Visitation was held at Blood River Church of God on Saturday, January 30, 2011 
from 8 am until religious services at 11 am.  Interment followed in Carter 
Cemetery in Springfield.

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, five sisters, a brother, 
four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and 
extended family.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 46 years, Harold S. Edwards; her 
parents, W.A. “Bill” McKinney and Annie Hutchinson McKinney; and two sisters, 
Mary Jane Edwards and Joyce Edwards Neal.
