Farber, Nellie Margaret Rabalais

Nellie Margaret Rabalias Farber aged 83 died June 20, 2009 in Lake Charles.  
She was a native of Cottonport and Eunice.  She enjoyed working for 40 years 
with her husband as they owned a shoe repair shop, a flower shop and a dry 
goods store.

She was a member of the Catholic faith and an active volunteer for her church 
in Eunice.  

Two sons; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren survive her.

She was preceded in `death by her husband of nearly 60 years; Merlin V. 
Ferber; parents, Oscar and Eunice Ducote Rabalias; five brothers, and four 
sisters.

Services were at Johnson Funeral Home, Lake Charles; Graveside services were 
in St. Paul Catholic Church Cemetery in Eunice.
