He passed quietly and peacefully while at home, surrounded by his family. Tony was born at Lawrence Station near Santa Clara, CA, of Swiss immigrants from the region near Lucerne. He was a graduate of Southwest Texas State University, and entered the Air Force in 1951, with tours in Greenland, Germany, and Thailand as well as many locations within the U.S. He married his wife, Irma, in 1954 and celebrated their 60th anniversary this year. Upon retirement, he and Irma travelled extensively around the U.S. and overseas, settling in Louisiana, where they built their home in the countryside near the city of Watson. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Monday, June 30, 2014 beginning at 5:00pm. Memorial services will be held at 7:00pm. He is survived by Irma, children Tony and Kathy, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brother Noel, and sister Mary. He was preceded in death earlier this year by his eldest sister, Agnes. He will be missed by all who knew him.
