She was 76 and a native of Canton, Miss. Visitation was at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Thursday and Friday until services, officiated by the Rev. John Locascio. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Park. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, four daughters and sons-in-law, 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, two brothers and a sister-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Alan Fleniken; and parents, James Edward and Jessie Raines. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice, 10615 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70809. The family would like to extend a thank you to The Carpenter House and St. Joseph’s Hospice, as well as a very special thank you to her nephew, for all the care that has been shown.
