The Livingston Parish News - April 6,
He loved to plant a garden and tend his goats and was a hard worker throughout 
his life.  Mr. Fletcher a resident of Albany died April 1, 2008, at the age of 
83 at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center of Baton Rouge.

Huey is survived by his devoted wife Della Starkey Fletcher, daughter Debbie, 
grandson, Clint; granddaughter, Dania.  He was blessed with five great-
grandchildren and as four surviving brothers, Austin, Homer Lee, Archie and 
Kenny; along with one sister, Evy.

His brother James preceded him in death.

Funeral arrangements  were held Friday at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home. 
Interement was in Blood River Baptist Church emetery.
