Vera Flores 
 
A native of Richards, Texas, and a resident of Denham Springs, Vera Ernestine 
Flores passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Golden Age Nursing Home in 
Denham Springs. She was 97, a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 
and a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Visitation was at Seale 
Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Friday until funeral services in the funeral 
home chapel, with rosary services. The funeral service was officiated by 
Deacon Rudy Stahl. Burial was in Lanier Cemetery, Walker. 

She is survived by her four daughters and three sons-in-law, two sisters, 
Madell of Conroe, Texas, and Adell of Pasadena, Texas; six grandchildren; 
eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Lee James Flores; 
parents, Browder and Alma Long; and granddaughter, Morgan Elizabeth Hill. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Life 
Source Services of Baton Rouge, 3049 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd., Suite 100, 
Baton Rouge, LA 70816
