The Livingston Parish News, July 23, 2009
Ned Font a resident of Albany, formerly of Holden, and a native of Baton 
Rouge, died July 19, 2009, at the age of 66.

He was a former employee of Waste Management and a member of Doyle Baptist 
Church.  He was an avid motorcyclist. He also enjoyed flying 1948 "Daisy" 
airplanes.  He also enjoyed trail rides and driving 18 wheelers cross country.

He is survived by his loving wife, two daughters, four granddaughters, his 
faithful dog Snoopy, and three brothers.

He was preceded in death by his mother Murl Jordan Dreel, father, George Font, 
brothers George and Teddy Font, and sister Geraldine Hicks.

Services were held at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. 
Carl Rushing.  Burial at Gateway Gardens Memorial Park, Livingston.
