FRANK, HENRY COLE

Henry Cole Frank 82 died at his daughter’s home in Port Hudson on Aug 22, 
2009.  He was a native of Deerford and a resident of Port Hudson.  Mr. Frank 
was a retired member of Millwright Local #729 of Baton Rouge.  Mr. Frank 
received numerous citations, The Silver Star Medal, Asia HC, the Pacific 
Theater with 2 stars, the Presidential Unit Citation with 1 star, the World 
War II Victory Medal, and the American Theatre Ribbon.  He served in both the 
US Army and the US Marines.  He was a member of Port Hudson Baptist Church.

Visitation was at Port Hudson Baptist Church, with burial in Port Hudson 
National Cemetery.

He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law; two sons and a daughter-in-
law; a sister; two brothers, and an adopted brother; 16 grandchildren; and 32 
great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Betty Thibodeaux Frank.
