GORDON, CHARLES PRESTON

Charles Preston Gordon 92 of Robert died Wednesday, Jan 5, 2005 at North Oaks 
Medical Center in Hammond.  He was a native of Sicily Island and was a retired 
millwright and member of Local 720 in Baton Rouge.  He was a member of Robert 
Church of God.

Visitation was held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond on Friday, 
Jan 7, 2005 until the religious services with interment in Cooper Cemetery.

His son, a daughter, two granddaughters, a grandson, a brother, and four great-
grandchildren survive him.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Evelyn Calmes Gordon; a son, David 
Gordon; his parents, George and Sena Sibley Gordon; five sisters, Effie 
Robertson, Roberta Alford, Estelle Schmidt, Bernice Davis and Clara Reeves; 
and two brothers, Jesse and Stanley Gordon.
