GREEN, GERALD ALLEN

Gerald Allen Green 70 of Denham Springs died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Baton
Rouge Medical Center-Bluebonnet after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
 He was born Aug 7, 1939 in Lafayette, his family moved to Wisner where he was
raised on a farm.  He then moved to Baton Rouge and Livingston area in 1958 and
was the manager of Livingston Parish Gravity Drainage Board District No. 5 for
the past 25 years.  He also hosted the annual Easter Egg Hunt held at his home
in Denham Springs for his family, friends and neighbors.  Literally hundreds of
people have enjoyed this annual hunt since its inception in 1988.

Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Friday, March 19,
2010 and resumed on Saturday, March 20, 2010 until the funeral services at noon
with interment in Denham Springs Memorial Park.

Two daughters and sons-in-law, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a
brother and sister-in-law, two sisters and a brother-in-law, a brother-in-law
and his wife, two sisters-in-law and their husbands, and numerous nieces and
nephews survive him.

Preceding him in death were his parents, John Calvin Green and Myrtle Sanders
Green; his wife, Bobbye Sue Hinton Green; two brothers, Robert William Green and
John Arville Green;; a son, Robert Allen Green; a niece, Lynn Spigner; his
father-in-law, Robert Gordon Hinton; and mother-in-law, Elsie Taylor Hinton. 

Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society of Livingston Parish.
