A native of Clinton and a resident of Denham Springs, Melissa Ann Hanna passed 
away Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at her residence at the age of 34. 

Visitation was at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Sunday and Monday 
until funeral service in the chapel, conducted by Dr. Terry Booth. Burial 
followed in Amite Baptist Church Cemetery, Denham Springs. 

She is survived by her son, ; mother, father and stepmother, two sisters and a 
brother-in-law, a stepbrother, two special nephews, two nieces; a nephew; a 
special cousin who was like her brother, grandparents, Jeanette and Herbert 
Hanna; best friend and second “child,” her black Lab Thunder; and numerous 
other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Emmett and Odelle Hooge.
