Henderson Died 11:55 p.m. Sunday, July 10 1988, at Medical Center of Baton Rouge. He was 78, a native of Denham Springs and resident of Baton Rouge He was a US Navy veteran of World War II. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., after 10 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Bob Anderson. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by wife,Gladys Heltz Henderson, Baton Rouge; two daughters, \ Wanda Hetzel, San Antonio, Texas, and Gayle Ducote, Beaumont, Texas; two sons, Wayne J.Henderson, Baton Rouge, and Douglas L. Henderson, Port Allen; a sister,Ruby Niolon, Slidell; three brothers, Jesse V. Henderson, Zachary, George W. Henderson, Walker, and John W. Henderson, Denham Springs; and 11 grandchildren. Preceded in death by a sister, Nettie Juban; and three brothers, Adrian, Joseph A. and Henry P. Henderson. He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church.

HENDERSON, LULA MILLER
Died 12:25 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, 1988, at Medical Center of Baton
Rouge. She was 96, a native and resident of Denham Springs. Visiting at
Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday and after 8
a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev.
John Causey, the Rev. Brad Curry and the Rev. Willis Ray Curtis. Burial
in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. Survived by three daughters, Mrs.
J.E. (Violet) Robertson, Baton Rouge, Mrs J.J. (Dot) Aubert and Mrs.
Hugh (Mavis) Clement, both of Denham Springs; two sons, Dr. Jerry
Henderson, Baton Rouge, and Miller Henderson, Metairie; 10
grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by
husband, George W. Henderson; a son, Murphy Henderson; and a daughter,
Margie Henderson. Pallbearers will be grandsons. She was a member of
First Baptist Church, Denham Springs.

HENDERSON, DR. JERRY P.

Died 5 a.m. Monday, March 11, 1991, at his residence in Baton
Rouge.
He was 65, and a native of Denham Springs. He was a retired doctor of
optometry and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict. Seale Funeral
Home, Denham Springs, in charge of incomplete arrangements. Survived by
two daughters and sons-in-law, Dottie and Paul W. Kimble, Denham
Springs, Michele and George Grantham, Ruston; three sons and a
daughter-in-law, Jerry K. and Suzy Henderson, Baton Rouge, Gregory P.
Henderson, Baton Rouge, and Jay W. Henderson, Naval Air Station,
Brunswick, Maine; three sisters, Dot Aubert, Denham Springs, Violet
Robertson, Baton Rouge, and Mavis Clement, Denham Springs; a brother,
Miller Henderson, Hollywood, Fla.; and seven grandchildren, D'Wayne,
Dawnya and Daniel Shepherd, all of Denham Springs, Brandon, Dustin and
Jordan Henderson, all of Baton Rouge, and Gary Kimble, Denham Springs.
Preceded in death by wife, Dorothy Henderson. He was a member of First
Baptist Church, Denham Springs, past president of Denham Springs
Chamber
of Commerce, past master of Denham Springs Masonic Lodge No. 297, F&AM,
charter member of Denham Springs Rotary Club, BREC boy's softball
coach,
life member and secretary one year of Louisiana State Association of
Optometrists, president of Optometry Student Body at University of
Houston and practiced optometry in Denham Springs from 1962-84 and in
Baton Rouge from 1984-86.
