HERRICK, LYLE RICHARD

Lyle Richard Herrick 76 of Denham Springs died Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Our 
Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.  He was a retired structural 
engineer with Superior Steel Inc, and Four Star Inc.  He was a native of 
Kansas City, MO and was a US Army Veteran.  He was a graduate of Northeast 
High School in Kansas City, MO and a deacon at Lanier Baptist Church.  He 
enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.  

Visitation was held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 and 
resumed on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 until the funeral service with interment 
following in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

Surviving him was his wife of 52 years, a son and daughter-in-law, two 
daughters and sons-in-law, seven grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, numerous 
nieces and nephews and his beloved cat, Pumpkin.

Preceding him in death was his father, John V. Herrick Sr.; his mother, Freda 
H. Herrick; and two brothers, John V. Jr., and Duane L. Herrick.
