HOBBS, CAROLYN SIBLEY

Carolyn Sibley Hobbs, 74 of Denham Springs died Aug 8, 2009 at Ochsner Medical 
Center-Baton Rouge.  She was born in Walker and spent most of her life in East 
Baton Rouge Parish.  She was retired from the East Baton Rouge Parish 
Sheriff’s Dept, having served 23 years.

Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs.  Burial was in 
Salem Cemetery, Walker.

Two daughters; a son-in-law; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two 
sisters and brothers-in-law; and a brother and sister-in-law survive her.

Preceding her in death was her son, John “J. T.” Hobbs; a grandson, Cody Dale 
Westberry; her parents, Ellis and Camille Albritton Sibley; a brother Paul 
Sibley; and sister Betty McMorris
