Rena Darnell Holmes, a resident of Denham Springs, passed away on Monday, June 
30, 2014 at Ochsner Medical Center at the age of 67, 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the residence of Donald W. 
Holmes, 33465 LA 1019, in Denham Springs on Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 2:00pm 
until 4:00pm. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Wayne P. Holmes, two 
daughters; Donna Seymour and husband Kenneth, Dana Holmes, two sons; 
Christopher Wayne Holmes and wife Heather, Jesse Creel and wife Dee Dee, 
brother, Donald W. Jones and wife Michael, granddaughter Alli Seymour Scott 
and husband Joshua, five grandchildren; Zach, Blythe, Taylor, Eden, Dawson, 
and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward F. and Willie Mae Jones and 
her brother Douglas F. Jones. 

Special thanks to Ochsner Medical Center and their staff, for the 
compassionate care of our mother.
