He was born on Oct 29, 1925 in Sunfield, Mich. He served in both the US Army Air Forces and the US Air Force from 1945 to 1949. He always said the best thing that happened while he served was the Army Air Force became the US Air Force. He and his wife were married on Feb 17, 1950. There was a memorial service on April 15, 2010 at First United Methodist Church of Denham Springs. He had donated his body to the Bureau of Anatomical Services. His wife of almost 60 years, a sister, two daughters and a son-in-law, a son, three grandsons and a granddaughter-in-law, two granddaughters and a grandson- in-law, a great-granddaughter, and nieces and nephews survives him. Preceding him in death were his parents, Harold Hotchkiss and Hazel Meyers Hotchkiss; three brothers and a sister.
