HOUPY, LAWRENCE “LARRY” SR.

Lawrence “Larry” Houpy Sr., 74 of St. Francisville died Saturday, December 4, 
2010 at West Feliciana Hospital.  He was a former resident of St. Bernard and 
was a retired captain with the New Orleans Fire Department, where he served 
for 32 years.  He was a veteran of the US Army.

Visitation was held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Sr. 
Francisville on Friday, December 10, 2010 until the memorial service.

He was survived by his wife of 47 years, a daughter and son-in-law, two sons 
and daughters-in-law, a sister and brother-in-law, three brothers and two 
sisters-in-law, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Ventura and Florence Houpy; and three 
brothers, Albert Houpy, Robert Houpy, and Michael Houpy.
