He was born in Baton Rouge on Aug 9, 1964 and moved with his family to Watson where he attended Live Oak High School. After graduating he went on to LSU where he studied electrical engineering and computer science. At the time of his death he had been a senior software with TelePacific Communications in Los Angeles for two years. He received the Employee of the Quarter Award in 2008 as well as several On The Spot Awards for problem solving. Before moving to Los Angeles he had worked for similar telecommunications firms in Reston, VA; St. Louis, MO; and Greenville, SC. A memorial service was held at University United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Baton Rouge on Saturday, Jan 16, 2010. His father and stepmother, his mother, a sister, and two aunts survive him. Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Joe and Clara Impson, who were of Denham Springs; his maternal grandparents, Victor and Gertrude Nabors, who were of Watson; and an uncle, Douglas Impson.
