JACKSON, DORIS ALMAND

Doris Almand Jackson 90 a previous longtime resident of Baton Rouge died on 
Saturday June 6, 2009 at Westbury Rehab and Nursing Home in Conyers GA, where 
she had lived for two years, to be near her daughter and family.  She was born 
Feb 21, 1919 in Bossier City and was a member of Greenwell Springs Baptist 
Church.  She was known for her love of God, family and friends.

Visitation was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East in Baton Rouge on Saturday 
June 13, 2009, from 10 am until the service at noon with interment in Roselawn 
Memorial Park.

Two daughters and sons-in-law, a son and daughter-in-law, six grandchildren, 
and three great-grandchildren survive her.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Dennie V. Jackson Sr.; her parents, 
Julia and Claiborne Almand; a brother, Alton L. Almand; and a sister, Lucille 
A. Lalumandier
