I took his hand when I heard him call, I turned my back and left you all. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy. So grieve a while for me if you must, then let your grief be comforted by trust. You must not tie yourselves to me with tears, but you must thank God that we had so many years. And then, when you must come this way too, I'll greet you with a smile knowing that the Lord has welcomed you." Dear Daddy, Even though God has called you home, your strong will for the love of life will outlive all of us. Thank you for being a great friend, a skilled and talented teacher and the best dad ever. You will be loved and missed.
