She was a native of Belle Rose. She was a retired school bus driver, a 50-year member of the Order of United Commercial Travelers of Baton Rouge Council 499, a member of the St. Louis King of France Altar Society and a member of the Catholic Daughters League. Visitation was held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday, May 15, 2009 at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church and resumed on Saturday, May 16, 2009 from 9 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am with interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, two sons and daughters-in- law, a sister, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, nine great-great- grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband of 68 years, Cecil J. Jarreau Sr.; her parents, Joseph and Ida Bouquet; six siblings; a son-in-law, Dennis R. Wax; and a great-great-grandchild, Connor Loughnane.
