JENKINS, REGGIE DEWITT “PETE”

Reggie Dewitt “Pete” Jenkins 60 of Greenwell Springs died Oct 17, 2009 at MD 
Anderson Cancer Center of Houston TX.  He was Vice President of Hexicon 
Specialty Chemicals.  He was born in Clinton and a graduate of Southeastern 
Louisiana University in Hammond.  

Visitation was held at Charlet Funeral Home in Zachary on Tuesday, Oct 20, 
2009 and at Blackwater United Methodist Church on Tuesday, with burial in the 
church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, two sons and a daughter-in-law, two 
grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters-in-law, two sisters and a 
brother-in-law, .

He was preceded in death by his father, James Wilford Jenkins; his mother 
Maggie Lillian Jenkins; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nannie Travis and 
Reeves Morgan; a sister and brother-in-law, Geraldine and William Westbrook; 
brother-in-law, Aubrey Harrell; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Dorothy 
and Charles Morgan; and sisters-in-law, Carolyn Jenkins, and Judy Jenkins.
