Clyde J. Johnson 83 died Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Ochsner Medical Center of Baton Rouge. He was born Nov 8, 1926 in Independence and was a graduate of Albany High School. He was a veteran of the US Army and the owner of Johnson Ford in Denham Springs, where his slogan was “Come see Cousin Clyde – Home of the Kinfolk Deal”. He was also a member of Louisiana Automobile Dealers Association and Denham Springs First Baptist Church, and was a licensed auctioneer. Clyde was never at a loss for words and seeing him would always brighten you day. Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Thursday June 4, 1009 from 5 pm until 9 pm and resumed on Friday, June 5, 2009 until the services at 11 am with interment in Evergreen Memorial Park in Denham Springs. He was survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, a sister and brother-in- law, a brother, three granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, a grandson and granddaughter-in-law, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
