KOOBS, RUBY GEFFERT

Ruby G. Koobs 83 of Denham Springs died at 8:22 am on Monday, January 10,  
2011 at Old Jefferson Community Center in Baton Rouge.  She was a native of 
Yorktown, TX and was retired from Blue Cross/Shield of Louisiana Insurance 
Company.  She was of the Lutheran Faith.

Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Saturday, 
January 15, 2011 from 10 am until the religious services in the funeral home 
chapel at 1 pm with interment following in Denham Springs Memorial  Cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters, five sons and a daughter-in-law, nine 
grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death her husband, Frederick W. Koobs; her parents, Anton E. 
and Lilly Krueger Geffert; and brothers and sisters.
