He was a veteran of WWII. He was a native of Evangeline Parish, and a resident of St Bernard Parish for 35 years. He was a longtime employee of the Roosevelt Hotel/Fairmont Hotel in New Orleans. Following Hurricane Katrina he moved to Denham Springs. Visitation was held on Sunday, Sept 27, 2009 and on Monday, Sept 28, 2009 at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home in Chalmette with interment in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens. His wife; three daughters; two sons; four stepdaughters and a stepson; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; and 13 survive him step-great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, Adalaide Androus Landreneau and Eclouxie Landreneau; and a wife, Lillie Courville Landreneau.
