Clebert Leger, Jr., 64 of Denham Springs and a native of Crowley died Sept 8, 2009 at Harvest Manor Nursing Home, Denham Springs. He served in the US Army in Vietnam on the front line three times. He was a Green Beret 101st and 102nd Airborne. Mr. Leger received 4 purple hearts and other medals. He served in the army for 21 years. A son, five sisters, a brother, several grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews survive him. Preceding him in death were his parents Clebert Leger Sr. and Rita Guillory Leger; a daughter, Melissa Northrup; a son, Clay Leger Jr.; two sisters, Theresa Moore and Lorena Romero; and a brother, Roger Leger. Seale Funeral Home of Denham Springs was in charge of arrangements.
