BANKS Joy A. Banks Lehr 81 of Walker died Friday, May 29, 2009. She was an artist, designer, teacher, entrepreneur, enlightened spirit and mentor to all who knew, and respected and loved her. She graduated from Mississippi College and New York School of Interior Design. She was a real estate broker in Baton Rouge for many years. Visitation was at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Monday, June 1, 2009 and resumed on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 until religious services with interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by, her three daughters and two sons-in-law, a son and daughter-in-law, five granddaughters and a grandson-in-law, three great- grandchildren, two stepsons, a stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, five step grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, three grandchildren, and 10 step great- grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her husband, Dick Lehr; a son, Sharp W. Banks III; a brother, Paul Alford; and her parents, Margel and Carrie Alford.
