LEWIS, CHRISTNER CATO

Christner Cato Lewis, 81, a native of French Settlement and a resident of 
Baton Rouge, died Aug 8, 2009.  She was a retired former Perkins Road 
Elementary School and Southern University employee.  She was a member of New 
St. John Baptist Church.

A Memorial service was held on Friday Aug 14, 2009 at the New St. John Baptist 
Church.  Interment was in Port Hudson Memorial Cemetery..

Her son and his former wife; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren 
survive her.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Howard Lewis; a son, Wendall Lewis; 
and a daughter, Debra Pennevwell
