LINDSEY, GLADYS YOUNG FRAZIER

Gladys Young Frazier Lindsey 91 died on Thursday, Dec 16, 2010 at St. Helena 
Parish Hospital.  She was born Dec 18, 1918.

Visitation was held at New Zion Baptist Church in Kentwood on Sunday, Dec 19, 
2010 and continued with religious services conducted by the Rev. Joe Day on 
Monday, Dec 20. 2010 with interment following in the church cemetery.  
Arrangements were handled by McKneely Funeral Home in Kentwood.

She is survived by four daughters, two sons, 22 grandchildren, 38 great-
grandchildren, and 33 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Mamie and Richard Young; two 
husbands, Percy Frazier and Clyde Lindsey; a son-in-law, A. E. “Buddy” 
Hobgood; a granddaughter, Ruby Hobgood Fletcher; three sisters and five 
brothers.
