Loraine Long 

A former resident of French Settlement and current resident of West Plains, 
Mo., Loraine Lobell Long passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011, after a long, 
extended illness, surrounded by her loving family. 

Visitation was at Carter Funeral Home, West Plains, Mo., on Sunday. Service 
was at the funeral home on Monday, followed by the burial. 

Loraine is survived by her husband of 40 years, her mother, two daughters and 
two sons, 11 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and two sisters. Loraine 
was a 1966 graduate of French Settlement High and attended Southeastern 
University. 

Loraine was preceded in death by her father, N.V. “Jack” Lobell Jr.
