He was 58 and a resident of Denham Springs. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandpa, son, brother and uncle. He is survived by his wife, seven children and their families, three sisters, two brothers, 19 grandchildren, the pride and joy of his life, He had two dear friends. He leaves behind many nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law that he had a special place for. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jennie Lucille; father, Hardy D. McKinney Sr.; sister, Ruth Evelyn McKinney; and grandbaby, “Baby Ernest.” He loved being in the company of his kids, grandkids and friends, He will be greatly missed by many. Respectfully, he will be cremated. “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6.
