MCMORRIS, VIVIAN E. “V.E.”

Vivian E. “V.E.” McMorris 88 a longtime resident of Baton Rouge died Friday, 
Dec 4, 2009 at Carpenter House of St. Joseph in Baton Rouge.  He was a native 
of Livingston.  He was a veteran of the US Coast Guard.  He was a member of 
Broadmoor Baptist Church and a former member of First Baptist Church where he 
was a deacon and president of the Eastland Sunday School class.  He loved to 
work in his garden and travel with his wife.

Visitation was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East in Baton Rouge on Sunday, 
Dec 6, 2009 and resumed on Monday, Dec 7, 2009 with interment in Roselawn 
Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, two granddaughters and grandsons-
in-law, two great-grandchildren, three brothers, and two sisters.

Preceding him in death was his wife of 66 years, Thelma Mortimer McMorris; and 
his parents, Sarah and Alex McMorris;
