MELANCON, JOSEPH CLINTON “CLINT” JR

Joseph Clinton “Clint” Melancon Jr. of Baton Rouge died at 11:35 pm Wednesday, 
May 6, 2009 at Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge.  He was a retired 
pipefitter and instructor at Associated Builders & Contractors.  He was a 
veteran of the US Army and a 1953 graduate of Jesuit High School in New 
Orleans.

Visitation was held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday, May 8, 2009 and 
resumed on Saturday, May 9, 2009 until the religious services with interment 
in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

A daughter and son-in-law, a son, a daughter-in-law, a sister and brother-in-
law, and five grandchildren survive him.

Preceding him in death was a son, Joseph Clinton Melancon III; his parent, 
Joseph Clinton Sr., and Mary Ruth Lambert Melancon; and an uncle and aunt, 
John T. and Helen Lambert
