Joseph Robert “Joe” Moore Sr. passed away Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at Our Lady 
of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 68 and a native of Clark. Joe was 
the former owner of Joe’s Place in Baton Rouge and a U.S. Navy veteran, having 
served aboard the USS Princeton. 

There was a memorial visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on 
Tuesday. 

He is survived by his two sons, two sons and a daughter-in-law, three sisters, 
two brothers, four grandchildren, and two stepchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Era Jackson Moore; sisters, 
Ruby Berry, Dewanna Mammelli and Ann Emory; brother, Ellis Moore; and 
stepchildren, Bobby and Danny Matthews.
