MORRIS, AXIE E.

Axie E. Morris 96 died Aub 26, 2009 at 1:30 PM at her daughter’s home in 
McComb, MS.  She was born Sep 26, 1912 in Baton Rouge.

Visitation was at Live Oak United Methodist Church, Watson.  

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Herbert B. Morris; 
daughter, Marcia M. Tinsley; granddaughter, Marla P. Penn; and great-
granddaughter, Logan Marie Walker; she was also preceded in death by her 
parents,  Shell S. and Lessie R. Eisworth; sisters and brothers-in-law, 
Georgia and Robert Fountain, Annie and John Fugler, Myrtie and Bob Shanks, 
Dorothy and Dave Festervan; brothers, Louie and wife Dixie Eisworth

Leroy Eisworth, Willie and Glenn Jackson; brothers-in-law, Roger Guidroz and 
Jewel A. Dunlap; and sister-in-law, Emma D. Eisworth.

Surviving her were two daughters and sons-in-law; a former son-in-law; three 
granddaughters and two grandsons-in-law; seven grandsons and three 
granddaughters-in-law; 16 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; five 
brother and four sisters-in-law; three sisters and two brothers-in-law and a 
sister-in-law.
