MURPHY, ESTHER LEE ACHORD WATTS “TINY”

Esther Lee Achord Watts “Tiny” Murphy, 70 of French Settlement, died Monday, 
Nov 9, 2009 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge.  
She was a native of Walker.

Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home in Livingston on Wednesday, Nov 11 
and Thursday, Nov 12 with interment in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Cemetery 
in French Settlement.

Her husband; two sons and daughters-in-law; a stepdaughter; three sisters and 
two brothers-in-law; two brothers and a sister-in-law; six grandchildren; and 
two great-grandchildren survive her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Lena James Achord; her 
former husband, Valmon “P.D.” Watts; two sisters, Evelyn Simoneaux and Lois 
Neal; a brother, Marshall Achord; and two nephews, Mark Brian Achord and Gary 
Sims.
