MURTES, PETER “PETER RABBIT” WILLIAM

Peter “Peter Rabbit” William Murtes 63 of Denham Springs died Nov 16, 2009.  
He was a native of New Orleans and an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time 
with his wife at their camp in McComb where he retired too.  He was a great 
chef, who enjoyed cooking for others and was well known for his BBQ.  

Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Thursday, Nov 
17, 2009 and resumed at Hebron Baptist Church on Friday until services with 
interment in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.

His wife, a daughter and son-in-law, two sons and daughters-in-law, eight 
grandchildren, two nephews, and two sisters and a brother-in-law survive him.  
Numerous great-nieces and great-nephews and other relatives also survive him.

Preceding him in death was his parents, Peter William Murtes Sr. and Anna Mae 
Genre Murtes; and a sister, Michelle Murtes.
