He was a resident of Denham Springs and a native of Naugatuck, Conn. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in World War II. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Denham Springs. Visitation was held at Seale funeral Home, Denham Springs. A daughter and a son-in-law; a grandson and granddauther-in-law; his favorite granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren survive him. Mr. Naiskas was preceded in death by his wife, Olga Yourkstovich; his parents, Anthony and Veronica Bobnis Naviskas; daughters, Barbara and Elaine Naviskas; and sister, Mary Gamache. In Lieu of flowers donations were requested to be made to Special Olympics.
