NEPTUNE, JOHN WILLIAMS JR “JOHNNY”

John Williams “Johnny” Neptune Jr., 91 died Friday Jan 29, 2010 at his home in 
Baton Rouge.  He was a native of Akron OH and a veteran of World War II where 
he served in the US Army Air Force.  He was a longtime employee of Zammit 
Radio and Television.  

Visitation was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East in Baton Rouge on Monday 
Feb 1, 2010 and resumed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Baton Rouge, on Tuesday 
Feb 2, 2010 until the service.  Interment followed in Port Hudson National 
Cemetery in Zachary.

His wife of 66 years, two daughters and sons-in-law, a son and daughter-in-
law, a brother, seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous 
nieces and nephews survives him.

Preceding him in death were his parents, John William Neptune Sr., and Velma 
Garrett Neptune; and a brother, and sister.

A special thanks to Amedisys Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.  
In lieu of flowers the family requested donations made to Trinity Lutheran 
Church School in Baton Rouge.
