NEWMAN, ALBERT J. “A.J.” JR.

Albert J. “A.J.” Newman Jr., 79 of Ponchatoula died Sunday, Feb 14, 2010 at 
Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington.  He was born Thursday, June 19, 
1930 in Livingston Parish.  He was retired from DuPont Chemical in Reserve.

Visitation was held at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula on 
Wednesday, Feb 17, 2010 until the funeral service with interment in Sand Hill 
Cemetery in Ponchatoula.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, a daughter and son-in-law, a 
granddaughter and grandson-in-law, a grandson and granddaughter-in-law, a 
great-granddaughter and an expected great-grandson, three sisters, three 
brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Jennie Perrin and Albert J. Newman 
Sr.; and two brothers, Robert Earl Newman and Charlie Newman.
