He was born on March 15, 1947 and was a member of Live Oak United Methodist Church and was a 1965 graduate of Live Oak High School. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps serving during the Vietnam War. Visitation was held on Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs and resumed on Monday, March 6, 2010 at Live Oak United Methodist Church in Watson from 8 a.m. until the funeral services conducted by the Rev. Mark Crosby and Brother Tommy Bergeron. His fiancé, a son, two daughters and sons-in-law, seven grandchildren, four sisters and a brother-in-law, a sister-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews survive him. Preceding her in death were her parents, Elvin H. and Jennie Graves O’Neal; a sister, Lucy Allen; six brothers, Lionel, Leon, Roland, Tommy, Walter, and Lane O’Neal; two half sisters, Bertric Milton and Leola “Bea” Tice; two half brothers, Gilbert and Elvin O’Neal; and a grandson, Sawyer Hanchey.
