"Coon" a native of Plaquemine, LA and a resident of Denham Springs passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at The Baton Rouge General on Bluebonnet surrounded by his family and friends, at the age of 72. He retired as a Boilermaker, after 35 years, was a U.S. Marshall for a day. He served as an Alter Boy at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Fr. Crefassi, for 3 years. His greatest passions were hunting and fishing. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Monday, June 30, 2014 from 5pm until 9pm. Visiting resumes Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 8:30am until Funeral Service at 9am. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife of fifty one years, Edith Hite Oubre, two daughters; Kelly Courtney, Rita Jones and husband Derek, son Daniel and wife Angelle, four sisters; Betty, Theresa, Elizabeth, Adele, two brothers; Evans, Emile Jr., seven grandchildren; Christopher, Michael, Amanda, Taylor, Hailey, Kasey, Chase, great-grandson Remington, and a host of nieces nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gertrude Haynes and Emile June Sr., and four sisters; Carol Ann, Shirley, Peggy, Judy and a brother Clarence.
